Giveaways

Every other Sunday night we host a giveaway in our guild hall. All alliance members and their friends are welcome!

The rules are as follows . . .

Giveaway Rules and Regulations

1 ) Once an item is announced in trade chat you have a chance to win it. In order to win it, you must have the highest roll on a hundred sided die.

The emote for rolling is /roll 100

2 ) You may only roll once.

3 ) Once a winner has been announced no other rolls will be accepted.

4 ) Ties will be decided by a tiebreaker between the involved parties.

5 ) Only Lite officers will giveaway items. If you get something that you want to give away, give it to a Lite officer (preferably before the giveaway starts.)

6 ) Due to time restraints sometimes not all items donated are given out at a particular giveaway, items will eventually be given away.

(we don't steal donations!)

7 ) Once you win an item, approach the center of the circle, get the item, and then return to the outside of the circle.

8 ) Please don't talk in trade chat - it gets confusing and the Lite officers need something to allow them to stand out.

9 ) Feel free to invite friends, just let a Lite officer know so they can send out a guest invite.

so... last night we discovered that hosting our giveaways at night before a work day in an alliance thats 5-7 hours ahead of us means that very few allies can actually come... so we should probably revise the time

I might have an idea, but it would involve more than our guild handling the items. Though, the items would still be coming from us and various donations. I'll try to think this through before I suggest an epic fail lol

Generally from 8pm GMT till say 1am works for us on either Saturday evening or Sunday.

This week's giveaway is still on although Christine won't be there. We'll be having it at the usual time (9pm eastern).

Nice, I'm looking forward to it guys ^^, Hopefully I'll get home from work in time for it :3, I'll post it in the announcement also might be able to drum up some more support this time.

Types of donations we accept:
* Consumables (including alcohol / sweet / party points)
* Tomes
* Max green and gold weapons (preferably q9 or lower)
* Runes / Inscriptions (high-end ones only, such as vigor or sentinel's)
* Rare materials
* Stacks of common materials
* Unded minipets
* Gifts (Nicholas, holidays, birthday, royal, strongboxes, etc)
* Hero armors
* Zaishen keys
* End game trade-in items (ie. amulet of the mists)
* Max weapon mods (these will usually be applied to a weapon that doesn't already have one of that type)
* Certain collector items such as destroyer cores, golden rin relics, or whatever Nicholas the Traveler wants at the time

We're now switching to every 4th Sunday, starting today.

Next giveaway is Sunday, October 24th at the same time as always: 9pm EDT (6pm Pacific, 2am GMT)

I submit request for 69 to be the wild number.

In case anyone lost count of when the next giveaway is (like I do constantly), it is March 20th... Same Bat-Time, Same Bat-Channel.

Heads up, next giveaway is this sunday, Dec 11 at 9pm EST (same time as always)

The next, and FINAL GIVEAWAY will be held on July 29th at 7:00 PM EDT (23:00 GMT).
It will likely last at least 3 hours, with a few breaks.

July 12th will be the last day to donate weapons and upgrades (aside from upgrades that could be used on weapons already donated).
July 26th will be the last day that we will accept donations of any kind.

Expect huge prizes, we've got a lot to give away. We might even find some fun new ways to give things away.
